Stolen Generations: its not just to say... we are sorry

Sometimes it’s easy to criticize the other beliefs but we do not always see ours with outsider eyes, every culture has weird and different beliefs that if you are not part of the culture those beliefs would probably seam crazy to you.

That’s the think the cultures have to understand in order to live in peace with out warming each other. The stolen generations was, for me, a crazy and baseless idea they had in that time, that gave the aboriginal kids of Australia hard and sad moments, and for other even more opportunity, but the fact is not that with out this they could never have lived in a city or study in a school or university, for my the worst takeout of this situation is that the aboriginal culture is being lost or already lost, every different culture comes from years of traditions, and this cultures must be kept as a treasure for the mankind.

I think the Australian government by giving the country a day to remember and fell sorry about it, is not going to change anything, the kids that has already been raped or received bad treatment for this in some way, would never regain what they took from him, I think its not only felling sorry or having a national day for it, they should start protecting the aborigines and learn from this terrible experience and give them the protection and respect they deserve as human beings.

  1. I like Nicolas point of view of this problem cause is very important to understand the aborigines culture and protect them, create a national day to commemorate those crimes is not going to change anything.
